[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The International Council on Women\u2019s Health Issues (ICOWHI)<\/strong> is an international nonprofit association dedicated to\u00a0the goal of promoting health, health care, and well-being of women throughout the world through participation,\u00a0empowerment, advocacy, education, and research.<\/p>\n

We are a multidisciplinary network of women\u2019s health providers, planners, and advocates from all over the globe. We\u00a0constitute an international professional and lay network of those committed to improving women\u2019s health and quality of life.<\/p>\n

Every two years the International Council on Women\u2019s Health Issues Congress brings together a range of disciplines\u00a0involved in women\u2019s health including; nursing and allied health, clinical medicine, public health, education, epidemiology, law,\u00a0policy, and social research. The event aims to advance the science and art of women\u2019s health, and provide scientific meetings for scholars from different disciplines to improve understanding, education, research, and services related to women\u2019s health,\u00a0globally. Since the organization formed in 1983, the ICOWHI Congress has been held on six continents. The 21st ICOWHI\u00a0Biennial Congress is scheduled for November 6-9, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ICOWHI Congress is an opportunity for health professionals and related disciplines to review multi-dimensional aspects\u00a0of current women\u2019s health issues and facilitate partnerships and networks to enhance women\u2019s health status, their social\u00a0equality, and quality-of-life.<\/p>\n
